Selrisitai A charismatic singer with thick, gritty vocals; melodic songwriting not present on many albums of this genre, and enough dynamism in the instrumentation to prevent long-time metalheads from losing interest to overly simplistic playing.

Not enough melodic tracks for my tastes, but if you're a fan of melodies with a medium level of complexity—think Majesty, not Dragonforce—and a classic sound updated for modern sensibilities, I think you'll get some enjoyment from this album. Favorite track: A Tale as Old as Time.
